TIKVAH
Concert of Hope, Enlightenment and Remembrance

A multimedia theatrical chamber music oratorio with dance, TIKVAH was conceived and created by internationally
acclaimed composer Burton Beerman.  Inspired by the
writings and memoirs of Philip Markowicz, Torah scholar and
Holocaust survivor, TIKVAH celebrates the perseverance
that has enabled Jews to transcend persecution and
despair.  A musical expression of passionate praise to ideals
universally shared, the themes of TIKVAH echo the struggle
for human rights and freedom for all people.

Listen to live selections from our Jan 2006 concert at the
MLK Jr. International Center in Atlanta, GA.
